Six New Members admitted, nomination of Pierre Lavigne as Honorary Member

The Board of Directors met on 17 January 2007 at École de Technologie Supérieure. A large number of members and observers attended, as witnessed by the photos.

Six new members were admitted to CRIAQ:

  • Turboméca, represented by Hélène Séguinotte, General Manager

  • MDA Space Missions, represented by Marc Donato, Vice-president

  • Air-Ground Equipement, represented by Camil Poulin, President

  • Calimacil Probotik, represented by Patrick Lessard, President

  • CDCQ (Centre de développement des composites du Québec), represented by Pierre Labelle, Director of Operations

  • NRC-IRAP, represented by Bogdan Ciobanu, Director for Quebec

Dr. Pierre Lavigne was appointed Honorary Member (see below).

Pierre Lavigne elected Honorary Member of CRIAQ

 

Pierre Lavigne was awarded the Honorary Member certificate by John Saabas, Chair of the Board.  In his capacity of Vice-President Research of Valorisation Recherche Québec, and responsible for CRIAQ, Pierre Lavigne sat on the Board as observer and provided precious and sustained help since the inception of the Consortium thus contributing to its success. 

Pierre Lavigne thanks the members of the Board for their recognition and confidence.  He appreciated the small gift presented to him, a book on the Egyptian Pharaohs "Au Royaume des Pharaons" by Zahi Hawas, pulished by Geo.
