Announcement of the first workshop on Canada-EU aerospace R&D collaboration

Objectives

  • To identify possible research collaborations in the upcoming FP7 call for proposals which is expected to be issued in July 2011;

  • To identify areas of common interest for further consideration at upcoming CANNAPE workshops to be held in Canada.

Components
  • Overview of Canadian Aerospace Research Landscape

  • Presentations of the Aerospace Research Interests of Canadian and EU Companies and Researchers

  • Breakout sessions to develop potential research collaborations

 

Participation at this workshop will be limited to those who receive a formal invitation only. If you are interested in participating, please indicate your interest by return e-mail before May 9, 2011. You are also asked to highlight any existing or potential collaboration that your organization might have with the EU. Upon review of all responses, specific individuals will be selected to receive formal invitations to attend the workshop.

ATTENTION: University Researchers and SME participants

Funding for up to 75% of your travel expenses to Paris (air fares, accommodation, local transportation and meals) may be available for participants from SMEs and university researchers who are selected to participate in this Workshop, through the Going Global program offered by DFAIT.
