Mission Québec-India 2010
January 31st to February 6th 2010

130 delegates from the industry, research and innovation, and the education sectors participated at a very important Quebec delegation in India from January 31st to February 6th 2010.  This mission was managed by the Prime Minister of Quebec.

The CEO of CRIAQ, Dr. André Bazergui, was member of the Delegation ''Research - Innovation in Aeronautic''.  The following participants were part of the Delegation:

The opening event for the Quebec/India Mission was marked by the organization of a seminar.  Many representatives of the industry  and university sectors attended this important event.

During the evening, a reception was organized in the honour of the dignitaries of the Mission.

February 2nd 2010

All the representatives of the universities of Quebec and India attended a session at the Hotel Taj at Mumbai.  A matinee session at the University of Mumbai was a success.  The attendance of students and professors created a cordial atmosphere.

IITBombay

A meeting brought together the representatives of the universities of Quebec and India in the presence of the Minister of International Affairs, Mr. Pierre Arcand.

February 3rd 2010

One important event at the Mission Quebec India program was certainly the seminary ''Vertuous Triangle'' organized by the MDEIE.  The presentations were of an excellent quality and all the attendants were very attentive and interested by the subjects.

Visit at NAL

NAL and CRIAQ are partners in research and development projects.  The two teams are working jointly to start the projects as soon as possible.  During this meeting a close co-operation had been developed between the two partners. e

Visit at IISc

IISc is a very well known partner by CRIAQ since they are participants in many projects India-Quebec.  As the delegates could have seen, there is a great interest between the universities of the two countries to create a lot of projects for the future.  The CRIAQ will be there to help them.

Closing Ceremony

The mission Quebec/India ended by a closing ceremony at Delhi.  All the participants were very satisfied of their stay in India and their visit to the universities and industries of India.  In fact, many agreements had been signed during this mission which was considered a success.
