|
André Bazergui had been invited
to take part in a strategic mission to Hiroshima, Japan, between
March 7th and March 12th. This mission followed an invitation from
JETRO Toronto (Japan external Trade Organization). During this
mission, Dr. Bazergui was accompanied by Dr Attia Helmi, NRC and Mr.
Keith Meredith, Aeroinsight. The first visit was to the Mayor
of Hiroshima, Mr. Tadatoshi Akiba, who was very interested by the
CRIAQ programs. The delegates visited C-COM, MAZDA, HIROKO
JET, the UNIVERSITY OF HIROSHIMA, CHUBU AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGY
CENTER, MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES LTD.,
NAGOYA UNIVERSITY and AICHI PREFECTURAL GOVERNEMENT.
The presence of Mr. Koju Fuijii (Canadian
trade commissioner), Mr. Takaaki Abo (Quebec Commercial Attaché) and
Mr. Mohan Patel (Invest-Quebec) showed the importance of this
