The 47th International Paris Air Show – Le Bourget
From
17 to 21 June 2007

Canada's presence at this year's Paris Air Show was particularly important with approximately 100 Canadian companies in attendance, and included representatives from various federal government departments and agencies, provinces, one territory, municipalities and national and provincial aerospace-related associations.  Led by the Minister of Industry Canada, Honorable Maxime Bernier, the federal program included a Canadian Pavilion, a number of receptions, networking events, industry briefings, trade and investment promotion events, corporate meetings with senior aerospace decision makers.

The Québec delegation comprised some 35 companies and organisations of the sector (including CRIAQ) and was presided by Raymond Bachand,  Québec Minister of Economic Development, Innovation and Export/Trade. The Délégation générale du Québec à Paris, Montréal International, the Association québécoise de l’aérospatiale and Aero Montréal also participated in organizing activities at Air Show.

CRIAQ was represented par André Bazergui at the Air Show which offered an exceptional opportunity to learn about everything that is happening in the sector.

The official statistics demonstrate that the event was very successful:
