Objectifs/ Objectives
Le projet de recherche a pour objectif de développer un banc d'essai permettant d'obtenir des connaissances plus approfondies en ce qui a trait aux systèmes opérationnels et à la réglementation de la circulation aérienne. La recherche vise à rendre les opérations civiles et militaires plus efficaces.

The objective of the proposed project is to develop the existing working prototype DTB into a comprehensive design/test tool for the FMS product line. The proposed research pertains to the DTB applicability for both airplanes and helicopters, providing features for lateral and vertical navigation systems design. The DTB system is to be fully reconfigurable, and capable of accurate dynamic testing and malfunction simulation in a pilot-FMS interactive environment. The certification issues, related to the use of the DTB in lieu of actual flight testing during the FMS development process will be of paramount importance.

2005-01-18. Project 5.3 - Research team meeting


 The second kick-off meeting was held at CMC-Electronics in the presence of the new Principal investigator, Dr. Henry Hong from Concordia University.
