Description
It was shown in a previous CRIAQ project
that a tube made of thermoplastic
composite can be designed to exhibit
large deformation behavior similar to
that of aluminum under bending. This
project extends the concept for landing
gear.
Objectifs/ Objectives
To develop and validate a composite
cross tube for the skid landing gear of
a light helicopter.
