It was shown in a previous CRIAQ project that a tube made of thermoplastic composite can be designed to exhibit large deformation behavior similar to that of aluminum under bending. This project extends the concept for landing gear.

To develop and validate a composite cross tube for the skid landing gear of a light helicopter.
