Description
The objective of the project is to
manufacture an aerospace fibre composite
prototype with thermoplastic matrix
materials in order to compare with
aluminium and standard thermoset
materials in term of weight,
performance, manufacturability and cost.
Objectifs/ Objectives
The objective of this project is to
investigate thermoplastic materials for
the manufacturing for primary aerospace
component. The project will compare
thermoplastic materials manufacturing
processes with thermoset materials and
processes in term of performance,
manufacturability integration, cost,
life cycle and weight.
