At Thales Canada, which leverages digital capabilities to support the Canadian economy, this issue actively mobilizes teams. Amid conflicts of use, environmental concerns, and economic impacts, social acceptability has become both a strategic focus and a driver of action.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"479\" data-end=\"1301\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">In the episode titled <em data-start=\"501\" data-end=\"584\">\u201cBalance between Progress and Social Acceptability: Developing Technology Responsibly\u201d,<\/em> Catherine Roy shares her career path, which led her to take an interest in social acceptability at Thales. She explains how her perspective has sharpened over time in order to integrate strategic management of this dimension into technological projects. Catherine also takes on the challenge of clearly explaining the NeSiva project, a collaborative research and development initiative supported by CRIAQ, which aims to develop an intelligent receiver that leverages Signals of Opportunity (SoOP) as a passive and resilient alternative to the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS).
