Structured in four axes, the strategy is based on 10 objectives to strengthen the global competitiveness of the Qu\u00e9bec aerospace industry.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are pleased with the Government of Quebec&#8217;s involvement in the aerospace sector,&#8221; said Denis Faubert, President and CEO of CRIAQ. Collaborative research projects between the various actors in the aerospace community drive innovation in the field. CRIAQ will undoubtedly play a decisive role in the deployment of the strategy in each of these areas. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, research and development is a strong support for the development, growth and diversification of the aerospace industry, including SMEs. CRIAQ programs form a significant part of the specialized workforce required by the industry, and the aerospace technology base also benefits the military air force.<\/p>\n<p>With more than 70% of the country&#8217;s R&amp;D investment, the province of Quebec remains the main centre of aerospace research and development activities in Canada. It is a powerful driver of innovation in support of an industry that is of the utmost importance to the Qu\u00e9bec economy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About CRIAQ<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Consortium for Aerospace Research and Innovation in Quebec (CRIAQ) is a non-profit organization created in 2002 with the financial support of the Government of Quebec. Its mission is to stimulate business innovation through collaborative aerospace R&amp;D.
