The main purpose of these workshops was to identify promising research topics that could shape the aerospace industry in the next 5-10 years. More than 620 national and international participants (industry specialists, researchers, students, government officials, etc.) discussed the five proposed technology areas.<\/p>\n<p>A significant amount of data was captured, while participants identified a total of more than 700 research subjects and more than 200 structuring activities. A CRIAQ team addressed these data and some of the more dominant research topics emerged for each of the workshops.<\/p>\n<p>The exercise led by CRIAQ also highlighted more than a hundred structuring activities for research.
