The Quebec Research and Innovation Strategy (SQRI) announced today by Quebec City supports the momentum initiated 15 years ago by the Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Quebec (CRIAQ).<\/p>\n

CRIAQ welcomes the government’s commitment and the measures announced, which are part of a 10-year vision, but are planned over a five-year period. This approach reflects the time scales associated with the reality of the work of researchers and their industrial partners in the aerospace sector. The message is clear: collaborative research remains a priority.<\/p>\n

The SQRI will reinforce CRIAQ’s raison d’\u00eatre: to boost research and industrial innovation, consolidate research excellence, stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship, develop new talent and accelerate transfer and commercialization by leveraging synergies and partnerships.<\/p>\n

“This announcement reflects the government’s confidence in the Industrial Research Sectoral Groups (IRRS), which hold a central place in Quebec’s research and innovation ecosystem. This is a major encouragement, but also an invitation to do even better,” says Denis Faubert, President and CEO of CRIAQ.<\/p>\n

CRIAQ’s success as a catalyst for research and innovation in the Quebec aerospace community, due to the strong commitment of government, industry and academia, will therefore continue with the unchanged objective of maintaining Quebec’s enviable position in aerospace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
