« Over the past few years, CRIAQ has supported several collaborative projects involving partners from Quebec and Germany. The LiBio, NAIMMTA, AIARA, and COMP-1633 INTL projects brought together SMEs, large companies, and research teams to advance products and technologies related to cabin interior materials, robotics, and additive manufacturing. These projects have helped establish initial business and professional relationships that continue to generate benefits. The current mission aims to establish new contacts for the launch of a second wave of projects. » — Etienne Leclerc-Jolette, Vice-President, Strategy and Partnerships

Registration deadline: February 1st, 2026

About the partners involved:

ZAL
The fundamental idea of the ZAL TechCenter is to establish an international platform for aviation research under one roof. Since its opening in 2016, the research center provides around 850 workspaces distributed across hangars, laboratories and offices for partners from academia and industry. Modern research infrastructure coupled with various event formats for knowledge transfer and networking round off the TechCenter’s services.

Hamburg Aviation
With more than 40,000 highly qualified personnel, Hamburg is one of the biggest locations in the world’s civil aviation industry. The two giants of the industry, Airbus and Lufthansa Technik, are linked by Hamburg Airport and more than 300 suppliers, as well as a variety of scientific and technological institutions. Every one of them contributes know-how and expertise. Companies, universities, associations, the economic authority and other partners have come together to form Hamburg Aviation, a cluster dedicated to advancing the city as an aviation location.
