Project Ideas

What is a CRIAQ Project Idea?

CRIAQ supports both pre-competitive and competitive research whose technological advances will enable companies to be more innovative and position themselves as leaders in sustainable air mobility of the future.

CRIAQ projects must be collaborative, involving at least two partners (1 industrial and 1 public research organization or 2 industrials). CRIAQ project partners share the costs, risks, and results of the research projects they participate in. CRIAQ’s role is to provide strategic, financial, and administrative support to its members in the realization of these projects.

Last October 24, we organized a webinar to guide you in preparing and submitting your project ideas to CRIAQ.

Step 1

Submit your project idea

Starting September 12, 2024, fill out our form to submit your idea.
You will have until December 6, 2024 to complete the form and submit your project idea.

Step 2

Selection of project ideas

After receiving project ideas, the CRIAQ team will select project ideas that meet CRIAQ eligibility criteria. You will receive an email to inform you if your project idea has been selected or not.

If your project idea is selected, you will receive an email with the PowerPoint presentation of your project idea as it will be projected on the day of the event.

Step 3

Presentation of your project idea at the event

Your project idea will be presented on stage by a member of your team at the event. Following each project idea presentation session, there will be a dedicated networking time for expressing interest.

Your organization will have a booth to interact with people interested in participating in your project idea. Two people from your organization should be available on February 25 or 26, 2025 (plan for half a day of mobilization for this purpose) to answer participants’ questions.

Note that you will be stationed at your booth only on the day of your presentation. On the other day, you will be free to participate in the event as an attendee, not an exhibitor.

Step 4

Collection of expressions of interest

Each organization interested in participating in your project idea can express their interest by scanning a QR code at your booth via the RDV Forum mobile app. After the event, a CRIAQ project manager will provide you with the list of expressions of interest, and you can choose the ones that seem relevant to create the ideal partnership.
