WOMEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP: THE NEXT GENERATION IN AEROSPACE
A new generation of women leaders is emerging in the aerospace sector—women who are claiming their place in business, reshaping the rules, and seizing opportunities. Among them stands out Selwa Rafi, founder of KEPLR Intelligence, a Montreal-based company that is transforming flight crew training by leveraging data science and artificial intelligence.
Having lived in Quebec for twelve years, Selwa has been committed to developing concrete solutions to complex challenges within an industry that remains largely male-dominated. Her background in mathematics, combined with her expertise in statistics and probability and her strong professional ambitions, positions her as a key driver in modernizing aerospace practices—particularly in a sector where human factors are critical.
In this episode, titled “Women Entrepreneurship: The Next Generation in Aerospace”, Selwa Rafi shares her journey from her studies in Paris to the creation of her company in Quebec. She speaks candidly about the barriers she has faced and the opportunities she has embraced while building her career in a male-dominated industry. Selwa also introduces Project Tandem, a collaborative research and development initiative supported by CRIAQ, which reflects her values and aligns with the mission and objectives of Keplr Intelligence.
