Canada’s Innovation Leaders 2016: CRIAQ members stand out in research and development

On November 17, 2010, RE$EARCH Infosource Inc. published its Canada’s Innovation Leaders 2016 ranking. This ranking presents the 50 most research-oriented universities and the 100 companies that invest the most in research and development in Canada. The Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Quebec (CRIAQ) would like to congratulate the ten universities and five member companies that have an enviable place in it.

Indeed, the Université de Montréal, McGill University, Université Laval, Université de Sherbrooke, Université du Québec in Montréal, Institut national de la recherche scientifique, Concordia University, École de technologie supérieure, Université du Québec in Chicoutimi and Université du Québec in Trois-Rivières are mentioned in the ranking.

Bombardier, a major CRIAQ client, is at the top of the list as an R&D investor, closely followed by Pratt & Whitney Canada, CAE, Thales Canada and Héroux-Devtek.

Canada’s Innovation Leaders 2016, led by RE$EARCH Infosource Inc. is published annually to highlight the research and development of Canada’s most innovative universities, companies, hospitals and colleges.
