On Thursday, November 13, 2025, CRIAQ and the City of Longueuil were pleased to welcome more than 100 participants to Longueuil City Hall for an RDV Réseau dedicated to sustainable aerospace.
The morning began with opening remarks from Sylvain Lambert (District Elected Official, Acting Mayor and Member of the Executive Committee, City of Longueuil), Julie Ethier (Chief Leader, Economic Development for the Longueuil Agglomeration), Pascal Désilets (General Manager, Espace Aéro), and Guillaume Côté (President and CEO, CRIAQ).
This was followed by several presentations from key organizations, highlighting the essential role of collaborative research in accelerating the development of major technological innovations in Quebec:
- Pratt & Whitney Canada, represented by François Belleville (Director, New Technology Development)
- H55, represented by Étienne Ferland (General Manager)
- The Centre technologique en aérospatiale (CTA), represented by Frédéric Parent-Huybrechts (General Manager)
- École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), represented by Patrick Germain (Director, Aerospace Engineering), Georges Ghazi (Professor, Systems Engineering and Aerospace Engineering), and Flavio Noca (Professor, Aerospace Engineering)

We would like to highlight the commitment and leadership of these organizations: it is with them and for them that CRIAQ works to build a more responsible aerospace sector!
Strix, represented by David Nolet (Program Portfolio Manager), also took part to highlight its collaboration with CRIAQ and the work accomplished together to date. The objective is to streamline the application processes for a collaborative R&D project in sustainable aerospace across our two organizations.
A big thank you to the City of Longueuil for its warm welcome, as well as to all speakers and participants for their rich and inspiring discussions!
