As part of Quebec’s economic mission to the Farnborough International Aerospace Show, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy, Science and Innovation and Minister responsible for the Digital Strategy, Dominique Anglade, made a series of announcements today in Espace Québec.
Cooperation agreement between CRIAQ, CARIC and ZAL
The Quebec Consortium for Aerospace Research and Innovation (CRIAQ), the Canadian Aerospace Consortium for Research and Innovation (CARIC) and ZAL – Hamburg’s Center of Applied Aeronautical Research have signed a cooperation agreement. Its objective: to intensify cooperation based on mutual benefit and reciprocity through collaborative research and technological development between the three entities and their respective ecosystems.
Expected outcomes include the launch of a new collaborative research project, the integration of innovation chains and research networks, the increased alignment of academic and research institutions, and the establishment of new industrial and transnational business partnerships.
“This year, we are returning to growth in Quebec’s aerospace sector. These announcements reflect the industry’s strong momentum and optimism. Above all, they reflect the willingness of Quebec stakeholders to grow their sector by exploring new avenues, through strategic international partnerships, and by leveraging digital technologies, through promising modernization projects. This is how we can, together, encourage Quebec industry to contribute more to global supply and innovation chains and become even more competitive. »
